Just stuff...

this is what life is like at work for hayden... on his play mat.

Every year paul's family burns the Christmas Tree, so we do it too :)

My boss was making beanies for the humanitarian so I bought myself a set of 4 looms and I made 3 beanies... one for Paul, one for Jason (my brother) and this one, for me .

This is the start of the scarf I crocheted for Paul.

Pandemic

Dr. Susan Puls, cardiologist working for the Church. Specializing in pandemics:

A pandemic is coming not maybe but DEFINITEY coming! It is expected within the next 2 years! When it comes the healty people who are not infected will be quarantined into their homes for 3-4 months. GET YOUR 3 MONTH SUPPLY NOW! The bird flu is only one mutation away from being easily trasmitted from birds to humans and from human to human. The WHO expect 40% of the world's population to become ill and 50% of the sick will die. (1.4 billion people worldwide).

Get your supply of food and just be prepared! I'm also buying clothes for hayden that are bigger like 2T sizes so he will have something to wear when it happens. :) Any other thoughts or suggesstions I love to hear them :)

Not to scare you just to inform you... but I'm sure you've already heard.

Baby Advice Please!!

I have this book called BABYWISE and I know it works. There's also a book called Baby Whisperer and I've been told that works too. I've been a little off schedule when it comes to Hayden's day. I don't really like hearing him cry so I tend to either nurse him to sleep or rock him to sleep. I'm supposed to let him cry 15-20 minutes and then check on him and then leave and hope he goes to sleep. The book says that it could take up to like 30 minutes! This past weekend wasn't fun. Thursday night he was up every hour from 1:00 on. Friday night he woke up at midnight and I let him cry it out (it took an HOUR!) Saturday night was the same thing but this time paul sat outside the door and just listened the whole time. Last night he slept until 5 but he hardly got good naps during the day so he was really tired by night time. So I'm wanting any advice I can get from all you mothers of toddlers. Do I just need to suck it up and listen to him cry for that long? I'm scared that if I don't he will never learn to fall asleep on his own and I'll never get a good nights rest. Also I'm supposed to know the difference between his cries... when he was a newborn he would cough in his cry when hungry, he doesn't do that anymore. I just don't know what to do and I'm getting frustrated. HELP!

SaladMaster

There's this really awesome cookware called SaladMaster. They are sold through people that have dinner parties to show how they work and how awesome they are. I went to a dinner party and was totally amazed! Then I hosted my own where the girl selling them came to my house and I had 2 couples over for dinner. By doing this I got a free gift that is worth $500. I want to host another one but I need some couples to come to it. Its an hour and a half long and all you have to do is listen and eat!! She does the cooking for you. The only requirement is that the people are 18 or older and have never been to one before. It doesn't even have to be couples, it can be 4 friends. I would love to have some of you over for dinner!! You don't even have to buy them, she won't put any pressure on you to purchase, she just wants to get the word out. (she's mostly doing it to get a free set and she has to have so many dinners in a certain time frame to get her free set) So help her out and help me out (I want more free stuff :) If your interested PLEASE contact me and let me know when you would be able to do it so I can let her know. THANKS!

Eczema

Hayden's forhead and cheeks (more where his sideburns would be) have been extremely dry these past few weeks. I didn't really think anything of it until the dryness on his left cheek got bigger.... I've been putting lotion on it after every diaper change and after his bath and before bed. It seems to be getting a little better but he scratches at it and it bleeds. Poor guy. His doctor appointment isn't until the 28th. Could this be Eczema? Did anyone else's child have this? Any tips?

the talkative one

ok first of all I must admit I'm pretty talkative myself, but come on.

My boss will not shut up! I'm on here trying to read people's blogs or other things and all she does is talk and talk and talk... usually about her sick husbands medications and how insurance won't cover them. hmmm.... well I do tend to tune her out a lot. Sometimes she tells me a story and only uses he or she, I never get a name, and that's when I'm actually listening. I don't know who she is talking about!! The story will go on for 20 minutes too. Sometimes she will even ask a question and I haven't a clue what to say.

I also hate when she points out something that I need to be doing by telling or asking hayden. "Tell your mommy to walk around with you" "Say mommy I'm tired of laying on the floor" "Does your mommy read to you?" UH.... I GET IT! And its like 8 million times a day. It gets old. Taryn pointed it out to me that people tend to do that... tell the mother something through the child. bleh.

I didn't sleep well last night, can't you tell? Everything has been bugging me. ok I'm done complaining.
