Eczema

Hayden's forhead and cheeks (more where his sideburns would be) have been extremely dry these past few weeks. I didn't really think anything of it until the dryness on his left cheek got bigger.... I've been putting lotion on it after every diaper change and after his bath and before bed. It seems to be getting a little better but he scratches at it and it bleeds. Poor guy. His doctor appointment isn't until the 28th. Could this be Eczema? Did anyone else's child have this? Any tips?

Stephanie! Hayden is so cute. Its like a little fat hairy Paul. I am so jealous. I have been begging and pleading with Cody to have a baby but he just won't cave yet....but I know he will eventually. He's gotta get sick of hearing me eventually right? haha. I want to kiss Hayden's cheeks. He is absolutely adorable.

Normally they say to not put lotion on babies faces but I don't know what you are suppose to do it it is super dry like that. Landon has had eczema other places on his body and his Dr. gave him a WONDERFUL perscription cream that works like majic that I am sure would clear Hayden right up!

I'm sure he's fine...I had a friend who's baby had the same thing, Aveeno lotion seemed to work for her. Let us know what the Dr. says.

I remember sometimes your hands would get really dry. Is it like that, or is it really red? I ask because I think Daniel has eczema. His is really red and flaky. Nothing makes it go away but he uses this lotion called "Eucerin calming itch-relief treatment" to help with the itching. I've also heard that diaper rash cream helps.
